Steel wire braided hydraulic hoses: Composed of an inner rubber layer, a steel wire braided reinforcement layer (1-2 layers), and an outer rubber layer. They are suitable for medium and low-pressure hydraulic systems (such as engineering machinery, machine tools, etc.) and are one of the most commonly crimped objects by crimping machines.
Steel wire spiral hydraulic hoses: Including an inner rubber layer, multiple layers of steel wire spiral reinforcement layers (2 or more layers), and an outer rubber layer. They have a higher pressure resistance level and are suitable for high-pressure hydraulic systems (such as mining machinery, heavy-duty equipment). The crimping machine needs to match their design with thicker reinforcement layers.
Cotton thread/synthetic fiber braided hoses: Used in low-pressure scenarios, such as lubrication systems and low-pressure oil circuits, with relatively simple crimping requirements.
Special-purpose hydraulic hoses: Such as oil-resistant, temperature-resistant, acid and alkali-resistant special hoses (such as those used in hydraulic systems for chemical industry, food processing, etc.). As long as the size is suitable, they can be crimped by crimping machines.
Crimp-type fittings: These are the core adaptive fittings for crimping machines, consisting of a fitting core (inserted into the inside of the hose) and a fitting outer sleeve (sleeved on the outside of the hose). During crimping, the outer sleeve is compressed and cooperates with the core to clamp the hose.
Classified by structure: Integral fittings, split fittings (core and outer sleeve are separated).
Classified by connection form: Threaded fittings (such as metric, imperial threads), flange fittings, quick couplings, etc.
Other adaptive fittings: Such as transition fittings, reducing fittings, etc. As long as their outer sleeve design meets the requirements of the crimping process, they can be fixed on the hose by crimping machines.
Size range: Different models of crimping machines have a fixed crimping range (such as minimum/maximum crimping diameter), which needs to match the outer diameter of the hose and fitting (usually the outer diameter of the hose is 6mm-51mm, and large crimping machines can cover larger sizes).
Material compatibility: The outer sleeve of the fitting is mostly made of metal (such as carbon steel, stainless steel). The crimping machine needs to apply uniform pressure to the metal outer sleeve through the mold to ensure a tight bond with the hose (made of rubber, plastic, etc.) without damaging the inner layer of the hose.
